University of St. Augustine Welcomes Vice President of Business Administration

The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USA) has named James C. Harnden vice president of business administration. In this function, Harnden will provide operational direction for the technology, facilities, finance and property businesses in USA.

“Not just does Jim have wide-ranging expertise in IT and finance, he’s focused his career on the schooling sector, which means he’s already immersed in our business and certainly will bring many abilities to the University of St. Augustine,” said Dr. Wallace Pond, USA’s chief executive officer. “We are excited to have him join our team and begin working to improve our company operations.”

Harnden has more than 25 years of business, operations, facilities, customer service and IT expertise, which contains nearly 15 years at the executive management degree in the area he’s most enthusiastic about, instruction.

Before joining USA, Harnden served as the CIO and vice president of campus businesses for Thunderbird School of Global Management, where he was responsible for driving down prices, creating revenue flows and optimizing operational efficiencies, along with helping develop the tactical plan, negotiate contracts and raise pupil registration. He’s additionally served in senior positions at Tatum CEA Global Education and Junior Achievement Worldwide.

Harnden earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College from Colorado Technical University and an associate degree’s in Computer info. He’s received numerous certificates, including Project Management Professional (PMP).
