The wireless access points installed at UPWARD at Metroplex are commercial level Motorola Solutions AP-7502’s running on the new 802.11ac standard, which has a substantially higher throughput than its forerunners.

“More Internet based video streaming, and new formats including 4K TV’s and media players additionally means more capacity is needed in the access and core Ethernet switches, which led us to use Juniper switches for this particular job. These robust switches will give us much greater flexibility to adjust to on-going challenges without needing to retool and reinvest” said Marshall. !

The network as designed can adapt 10 Gigabits of Internet in the network advantage with no hardware upgrades or changes.
