The Advantages of Central Connecticut Real Estate

Central Connecticut, including east of Waterbury, north of New Haven, and the towns south of Hartford, offers many real estate choices. With accessibility to major highways, educational opportunities, and different places, central Connecticut encompasses high-end and affordable home and suburban communities for commuters. Besides characteristics and cost, central Connecticut real estate has a conventional mixture of properties: foreclosures, condominiums, townhomes, and single and multifamily residences. A house can be next to a busy downtown area or can be overlooking a lake or the countryside.

Central Connecticut real estate, be it houses or condominiums, has several advantages for commuters. Important highways 84, 91, and 691 are near most towns or go through; important state routes link these towns to the leading cities in the state. Because of this, most towns in this region are less than a half hour away from Hartford, New Haven, and Waterbury. Public transportation supplies conveniences that are similar for residents in the region. CT Transit services a number of these towns, as well as the Amtrak shuttle from New Haven to Springfield, Massachusetts stops at several towns in the region.

Central Connecticut doesn’t possess a uniform nature. Instead, active downtowns are minutes away from rural areas and dim suburban neighborhoods. Smallish cities Middletown and Meriden are transportation hubs for the region and provide various dining and retail choices. Communities like Cheshire and Newington, in the flip side, are a short drive to the state’s leading cities and have a predominantly suburban nature. Other communities, including Middlefield and Durham, are populated and are described as rural.

In addition to this array of characters, central Connecticut is scattered with commercial and industrial places. Manufacturing plants are clearly present in Southington, for instance, while several industrial parks can be found in Wallingford, Cheshire, and North Haven. Commercial strips and malls are available in almost all regions, supplying several shopping and dining alternatives.
