Versio by ScribeRight is celebrating 15 years of health care that is supporting. Created with a vision for supporting precise health care records for tomorrow as ScribeRight Transcription Service in 2000, the business has grown significantly since its infancy.

In 2011, the Renton firm added its portfolio and medical record migration services, as well as the consequent increase propelled Versio to be honored by the Puget Sound Business Journal as among the Quickest Growing Companies of 2012. To represent the increased service line, the organization selected the brand new name of Versio, while keeping “by ScribeRight” to honor its origins in medical transcription.

“Our assignment will be to help ensure the continuance of quality medical documentation,” said CEO and creator Lisa Pike. We support our customers as they transition to new record systems by keeping the integrity of their information. They’re in transition and we convert the information, so the name Versio, which is Latin for transition or conversion, is a perfect fit!”

Today, a year along with a half after, they take their rebranding a step farther, losing the ‘by ScribeRight’ used during the transition.

What started off as a one woman transcription business from a home office in 2000 has grown into the country’s only EHR data migration firm offering its customers 99.8% record truth.

“This is what the results are when you take great care of your own team as well as your customers, believing ahead of their demands,” says Pike. “It was not enough for us to simply transfer the information; data integrity and truth had to be kept, and we developed a strategy to do just that. We have adjusted and innovated over the previous 15 years to accommodate the ever changing health care sector, and I am excited to see what the years ahead bring.”

Versio is understood in the business for precision and attention to detail. While “transcription” is no longer part of their name, it’s still part of their service offerings. The first transcription done by Versio will nevertheless be offered, together with an increased number of transcription options, including voice recognition editing, transcription directly into EHRs, and transcription services for Emergency Medical Services (paramedics).
